ในบทนี้ศึกษาเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางซึ่งมักเกี่ยวข้องกับเรื่องต่อไปนี้
1. การถามเวลา (Asking about time) เช่น
- What is the time?
- What time is suitable for you?
- Could you tell me the time, please?
- What time will the train arrive?

2. การตอบคำถาม (Answering about time
2.1 ถ้าเป็นเวลาเต็มชั่วโมงไม่มีเศษให้ใช้ o'clock เช่น
- It's six o'clock.
- The train will arrive at nine o'clock.
2.2 ถ้าเวลานั้นไม่เต็มชั่วโมง ตั้งแต่เลข 12 ถึงเลข 6 ใช้ past ตั้งแต่เลข6 ถึงเลข 12 ใช้ to เช่น
9.10 = It's ten past nine.
10.20 = It's twenty past ten.
8.40 = It's twenty minutes to nine.
10.50 = It's ten minutes to eleven.
-หรือจะอ่านแบบอเมริกัน เช่น 9.10 อ่าน nine ten, 10.20 อ่าน ten twenty

3. การถามและตอบเกี่ ยวกับ วัน เดือน ปี เช่น
What day is today?
- What is the date today?
It's 12th. When will you come back?
On October 12th. In 2005.
When did you go abroad?
ถ้าจะพูดเกี่ยวกับวัน ใช้ preposition "on" เช่น on Sunday, on Monday ถ้าพูดเกี่ยวกับเดือนและปี ใช้ in เช่น in May, in December, in 2005, in 2013

4. การถามเกี่ยวกับระยะเวลาใช้ How long เช่น
- How long will you spend time for your holidays?
- How long does it take you to do your work each day?
การตอบเกี่ยวกับระยะเวลา
- I will spend 3 days in Phuket.
- It takes me 8 hours each day.

5การพูดคุยเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางในปัจจุบัน อดีต และแผนการเดินทางในอนาคต
5.1 การพูดคุยเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางในปัจจุบัน
1. รูปแบบประโยคบอกเล่า Subject + Verb ช่อง 1 + Complement เช่น
- The flight is late.
-I go to Phuket this summer.
- They travel to New Zealand.
2. รูปแบบประโยคปฏิเสธ
Subject + do/does not + Verb ช่อง 1 + complement เช่น is/are not
- The flight is not late. -I do not go to Phuket this summer.
- They don't travel to New Zealand.
3.รูปแบบประโยคคำถามและคำตอบ
Do/Does] + Subject + Verb ช่อง 1 + Complement? เช่น Is/Are
- Is the flight late? Yes, it is./No, it is not. Yes, I do./No, I don't.
- Do you go to Phuket?
- Do they travel to New Zealand? Yes, they do./No, they don't.


5.2 การพูดคุยเกี่ยวกับการเดินทางในอดีต
1. รูปแบบประโยคบอกเล่า Subject + Verb ช่อง 2 + Complement เช่น
- The flight was late.
- I went to Phuket last summer.
- They travelled to New Zealand two weeks ago.
2. รูปแบบประโยคปฏิเสธ
Subject + did not (didn't) ] + Verb ช่อง 1 + Complement was/were not
- The flight was not late.
-I did not go to Phuket last summer.
- They did not travel to New Zealand two weeks ago.

3. รูปแบบถามตอบ มีโครงสร้างดังนี้
Did + Subject + Verb ช่อง 1 + Complement? Was/ Were + Subject + Complement?
-Was the flight late? Yes, it was. /No, it was not.
- Did you go to Phuket last summer? Yes, I did./No, I di
- Did they travel to New Zealand two weeks ago? Yes, they did./No, th เกี่ยวกับเวลาที่ใช้บ่งบอกอดีตกาล เช่น yesterday, two days ago, last night/week/r เป็นต้น


5.3 การพูดคุยเกี่ยวกับแผนการเดินทางในอนาคตมีรูปแบบดังนี้
1. รูปแบบประโยคบอกเล่ามีโครงสร้างคือ
Subject + will + verb ช่อง 1 + Compleme
- The flight will be late. It เช่น
- I will go to Phuket next summer.
- They will travel to New Zealand next two months.
2. รูปแบบประโยคปฏิเสรโครงสร้างคือ
Subject + will not (won't) + verb ช่อง 1 + Complement - The flight won't be late tomorrow.
- I will not go to Phuket next summer.
- They will not travel to New Zealand next weeks.
3. รูปแบบประโยคคำถามโครงสร้างคือ
Will + Subject + verb ช่อง 1 + Complement? เช่น
- Will the flight be late tomorrow? Yes, it will. No, it won't..
- Will you go to Phuket next summer? Yes, I will. /No, I won't.
-Will they travel to New Zealand next week? Yes, they will./No, they won t
คำเกี่ยวกับเวลาที่ใช้บ่งบอกอนาคตกาล ช่น tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, next day! week/month/year เป็นต้น
